DJI ZENMUSE H20 SERIES
Multi-sensor payloads that bring a whole new meaning to mission efficiency. The unique intelligence and integrated design provide unprecedented aerial imaging capabilities for a range of commercial drone applications.
Capture everything. Up close or from a distance. In true living colour or thermal. An integrated laser rangefinder (LRF) measures the distance to an object at up to 1200 m away. A powerful, integrated payload that unleashes advanced intelligent capabilities for DJI’s industrial drone platforms.

SEAMLESS USER INTERFACE
A new integrated user interface lets you quickly switch between wide, zoom, and thermal camera views, and preview the zoom FOV while in wide or thermal camera view.
AI SPOT-CHECK
Automate routine inspections and capture consistent results every time. On-board AI recognises the pre-marked subject of interest in subsequent automated missions to ensure consistent framing.
HIGH-RES GRID PHOTO
Frame an area of interest in wide camera view, and the zoom camera will automatically capture a set of 20 MP images of the area. These images are stored together with an overview image that can be viewed in greater detail.
PINPOINT
A quick tap marks an object in view, advanced sensor fusion algorithms immediately deliver its coordinates.
SMART TRACK
Identify and follow moving subjects like people, vehicles, and boats with the auto-zoom function, while continuously acquiring the subject’s dynamic location.
Zenmuse H20T Thermal Capabilities
SPOT METER
Tap a point to get a real-time reading of the surface temperature.
AREA MEASUREMENT
Select an area to view the lowest, highest, and average temperatures.
TEMP ALARM
Receive instant notifications in DJI Pilot when object temperatures exceed your pre-set alert values.
ISOTHERMS
Visualise a specific band of temperatures to find what is important.
COLOUR PALETTES
Adjust the colours applied to the thermal data based on the needs of specific scenarios.
GAIN MODES
Adjust gain modes to change the temperature range captured: High Gain Mode covers a smaller temperature range but is more sensitive to temperature differences; Low Gain Mode covers a wider temperature range.
Developed and built for
Construction
Radiometric thermal capabilities and intelligent AI-driven features makes the H20T the perfect tool for building inspections.
Security
Whether it’s routine aerial patrols or incident response, both are perfect use cases for the H20T and M300 RTK.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which drones support the DJI Zenmuse H20 Series cameras?
The Zenmuse H20 and H20T are both compatible with the M300 RTK. Before using, please upgrade the firmware of the drone and remote controller to the latest version.
On which of the M300 RTK gimbals can the Zenmuse H20 cameras be installed?
Both the H20 and H20T can be mounted onto any of the three gimbal ports on the M300 RTK.
What are the zoom capabilities of the Zenmuse H20 Series cameras?
23× hybrid optical zoom, 200× max zoom
What are the image formats and resolutions?
Radiometric thermal camera (H20T only): R-JPEG, 640×512 px
Wide-angle camera: JPEG, 4056×3040 px (approx. 12MP)
Zoom camera: JPEG, 5184×3888 px (approx. 20MP)
What are the video formats and resolutions?
Radiometric thermal camera (H20T only): MP4, 640×512 @ 30fps
Wide-angle camera: MP4, 1920×1080 @ 30fps
Zoom camera: MP4, 3840×2160 @ 30fps / 1920×1080 @ 30fps
Can I fly in the rain?
The H20 and H20T have an ingress protection rating of IP44. However, this is not permanently effective and may decrease over time due to wear and tear.
What is the expected error of temperature measurements?
This depends on the many external factors that influence thermography work. However, in lab testing environment, the temperature measurement accuracy has been recorded at +/- 2°C.
What factors could influence accuracy of the Zenmuse H20T thermal sensor?
There are many factors to consider in thermography, some typical examples:
- The reflectivity of objects: shiny metals have higher reflectivity and will result in lower accuracy and lower temperature readings
- Air temperature and humidity: the higher the temperature and humidity, the more likely the readings will be impacted, and the lower the accuracy
- Distance between the camera and the object: the further away the object is from the camera, the lower the accuracy will be
What does the FFC button do in DJI Pilot?
Flat-Field Calibration (FFC) is used to optimise thermal image quality so temperature changes can be observed more easily. You can choose to manually enable FFC by turning off the automatic FFC adjustment in the DJI Pilot settings screen.
What software should I use for post-processing of thermal imagery collected by Zenmuse H20T?
You can process and analyse thermal imagery from the H20T by using the free DJI Thermal Analysis Tool. Download it HERE.
